| | Boarding ScheduleThe kennel is kept on a schedule which starts at 6 AM. This is when your pets are let out for the first time in the morning, to their individual runs, which are outside but are enclosed so they can enjoy fresh air without the weather changes.
As your pets are enjoying their first time outside, their first feeding is being prepared inside the kennel and their water dishes are being changed to new clean bowls and filled up with fresh water. They always have fresh water available 24 hours a day.
Then they are let back in after 15-25 minutes.
When they are enjoying breakfast, their outside runs are not only being scooped, but also washed with disinfectant. Each time they are let outside to go to the bathroom, they go out to clean, fresh runs. This also keeps your pets cleaner and fresher.
During the day your pets are let out on a routine schedule 5 times a day.
The duration of time spent outside does depends on the weather conditions and the size of your pet. We develop each dogs stay to the dogs size, age, health and to the owners specifications.
We feed at 6 AM & 6 PM. If your pet normally eats at 8 AM, Noon and 5 PM, if you ask us to, then we will feed your pet at their regularly scheduled time here.
If your pet only weighs 5 lbs., and it is 10 degrees outside, then he will be let outside only long enough to go to the bathroom and no longer. If he weighs 150 lbs, he will get to stay outside longer the 5 minutes.
The schedule goes on during the day and the kennel is totally cleaned and disinfected daily. The dishes are washed and air dried, which is more sanitary. 6 PM is our evening meal for your pet. Then at 8 PM will be the last time they get to go outside before bedtime. While they are outside, someone is inside giving them fresh water for the evening. When your pet comes back inside they are given a biscuit (if allowed) and told "goodnight" and as always = called by their name. Then it is lights out, set the alarm and they calm down and go to sleep!
Tomorrow is a brand new day!! |
